Alaina Shamlin, born
and raised in Delaware, creates artwork that celebrates the true
essence of women. Each vibrant piece captures the sensual rhythm,
unmistakable soul and endless beauty of a woman. Several paintings
from her most recent collection will be on show at the Christina
Cultural Art Center, in her latest exhibition “Diva Defined”.
Her expressive works will make you wonder if the Diva on display
could be someone you know or perhaps the striking images may change
your definition of what a Diva really is. The show runs until
February 28, 2007.
Alaina received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware and has taught art at local
schools.
She works on various projects that ranges from commissioned paintings to t-shirt design,
