Your Mid-Year Fitness Goals
While doing my one and only outside project this week, cutting my
front yard hedges, I started thinking about how blessed I am to
be able to do it. As I hurried through my routine of hedge cutting,
my mind started to wonder and I began thinking about now is the
time to revisit my fitness goals. Yes, I am a Certified Fitness
Professional, but I set goals and at times reevaluate whether the
plan is still working or not.
So let’s take this journey together! Find
a quiet place in the upcoming weeks and think about answering some
or all of these questions. The exercise may help put you back on
track or have you marveling at what you’ve accomplished so
far this year.
• What fitness goals have I made this year?
• Which ones should I keep, toss, or add?
• What has worked?
• What hasn’t worked?
• What seems to be my biggest obstacle?
• What should I do differently?
• What old habits do I need to get rid of?
• What is the best time for me to exercise?
• What priorities need to change?
• What people, place, or things, need to change?
• What can I do to improve my goals by December?
